Energy conservation involves saving the
earth’s natural resources for future genera-
tions. It is concerned with such things as
how to reduce pollution, waste, and land-
fi ll overuse. It is also concerned with using
alternative sources of energy that place less
of a burden on our natural resources. There
are conservation groups throughout the U.S.
that are concerned about energy conservation.
