ership positions in the National Association of
Industrial Technology including Chair of the
National Board of Accreditation, Chair of the
Executive Board, President, and Regional
Director. Dr. Kicklighter was awarded the
respected Charles Keith Medal for exceptional
leadership in the technology profession.
Dr. Kicklighter is the author or coauthor of
Drafting for Industry; Modern Masonry: Brick,
Block, and Stone; Residential Housing and
Interiors; Upholstery Fundamentals; and Modern
Woodworking.
Dr. Kicklighter’s educational background
includes a baccalaureate degree from the
University of Florida, a master’s degree from
Indiana State University, and a doctorate from
the University of Maryland. His thirty-seven
years of experience includes industrial, teaching,
and administrative positions.
Joan C. Kicklighter is the coauthor of
Residential Housing and Interiors, Upholstery
Fundamentals, and instructional materials in
family and consumer sciences. She taught
classes in business and family and consumer
sciences at the high school and adult levels.
Mrs. Kicklighter’s educational background
includes a baccalaureate degree from Indiana
State University and graduate work at Eastern
Michigan University. She is certified in Family
and Consumer Sciences.

Description
The Autodesk Authorized Publisher
Program is a program offered by the Autodesk
Developer Network. It is designed to help
authors and publishers produce and market
materials that support Autodesk software
products, such as AutoCAD and Architectural
Desktop. Authors and publishers produce
books, multimedia training materials, tuto-
rials, newsletters, journals, and training
seminar tools. To participate in the program,
authors and publishers must have an
Autodesk-approved agreement to market
their materials and must register with the
