To install the new spring, use the spring compressor to
decrease spring bend enough to allow installation. Then
install the spring so it is centered in the body and each side
of the suspension. Decompress the spring and remove the
tool; then reinstall all the clips and brackets that were
removed.

On a driving axle, the transverse leaf spring is a
multiple leaf design attached to the bottom of the axle
