2. Bar graphs are used to compare totals between two or more
categories. A bar with a different color or pattern is used to
represent each category. Create a bar graph that compares the
total number of new products with each type of health claim for
each of the four years listed in the data table from Activity 1B.
3. Circle graphs, which are also called pie charts, are used to compare
parts to a whole. A wedge of the circle is used to represent the
relative percentage of each part. Use data from the table you
prepared in Activity 1B to create a pie chart. This chart should
compare the number of new products with each type of health
claim to the total new number of products developed during the
same year. You may chart data from 1990, 1995, 1996, or 2000.
