Chapter 14 Internet and the World Wide Web 575 Hands-On Example 14.1.2 Setting the Browser Home Page When launched, a browser displays what has been set as the home page. Changing the home page is easy in Microsoft Edge. 1. Launch Microsoft Edge. 2. Click the Settings and more button. The General Settings menu is displayed by default, as shown. 3. In the Customize area of the menu, click the Set your home page drop-down menu. 4. From the drop-down menu, select A specific page. Enter the URL of the web page to use as the home page. To have no home page, enter about:blank. 5. Click the Save icon to apply the change. 6. Click the More Actions menu again to close the menu. 7. Click the Home button on the navigation bar or press the [Alt][Home] key combination. Verify that the intended page has loaded. 8. Applying what you have learned, set the home page of Microsoft Edge to a search engine web page, such as Google. Home page setting
