Teaches students the skills needed to diagnose, service, and repair late-model engines and related systems in passenger vehicles. It focuses on all makes and models of gasoline engines, with emphasis on using factory service manuals and specifi cations. It is correlated to the Engine Repair section of the ASE Education Foundation Task List and prepares students for ASE Certifi cation Test A1, Engine Repair Test.
