principles of growth
Write Principles of Growth and Development
in the middle circle of a chart like the one
shown. Then, as you read this lesson,
write the major principles you learn in the
surrounding circles. Beside each circle,
write what interests you and what you have
learned about each principle.
Skim through this lesson and list all of the headings you see. Leave one or two
lines of space beneath each heading. Then, close your book and compose a
“topic sentence” for each heading. Your topic sentence should summarize what
information you think each section will include. After you read this lesson, return
to your list and write a new topic sentence for each section, outlining the main
points you learned.
