Differences in Smoking Rates
The table below shows differences in smoking rates among adults in the
United States based on gender, race, education, and income. Working in
groups, after being assigned one of the four topics by your teacher, brain-
storm reasons your group thinks these differences exist. Discuss the listed
reasons and decide which two or three reasons you think have the most
impact. Present your complete list and your two or three most important
reasons to the class.
