Introduction
To be successful in a career, it is important to understand what
success means to you. Exploring your interests, attitude, aptitude, and
abilities will help define the type of career that is a good fit for you. You are
likely to be happy and successful if you are interested in your work and able
to do it well. Taking time now to learn what makes you happy can prevent
time wasted pursuing a career to which you are not well suited.
In this chapter, you will learn more about yourself and then apply that
knowledge to your career search.
