may like, but you will not become good friends.
Someday you may find yourself in a situation where you do not know
many people. You may want to introduce yourself to people. Do not wait
for them to make the first move. This is a good skill to have. You will find it
helpful when you meet new people at school, club meetings, or on the job.
Being open and friendly with people makes them friendlier toward you.
Greet people with a warm smile. This is important when making new friends.
Also, get to know people before you form an opinion about them.
People sometimes change after you get to know them better. First
impressions are not always correct.
The number of friends you have is not as important as the quality of
your friendships. A few close friends may be right for you.
