These functions require that fluid be circulated through the system to remove excess heat, flush dirt from internal areas, and lubricate bearing surfaces while moving actuators to do the work for which the system was designed. These functions are facilitated by hardware such as the reservoir and fluid conductors. The reservoir acts as a storehouse for fluid while aiding in system cleaning and cooling. Conductors and associated connectors allow the movement of fluid between system components to transmit energy and also aid with cooling and cleaning.
