Evaluation Evaluation is a continuous process. When you evaluate a plan of action, you assess your progress as you go through all stages of the management process. What worked? What did not? How could you make it better next time? Evaluation also improves your management skills for future projects. Ongoing evaluation can help you develop better ways of using resources to reach goals. Consider the successes and failures in your planning. How can you do better in the future? Figure 1-4 illustrates the process of evaluation.
