deposit required? How will you share it? Who will be responsible for
paying the rent on time?
¶ Chores. How will you share cleaning, cooking, shopping, and other
tasks?
¶ Food. How will you split the costs and responsibilities related to food?
¶ Space. Who gets each bedroom? How will you share space, time in the
bathroom, common rooms, storage areas, and TV time?
¶ Cable and utilities. Will you share these costs? Who will be responsible
for paying the bills on time? How will you split any security deposits
required for these services?
¶ Guests. What, if any, limitations do you want on overnight guests and
parties? Who may have overnight guests and how long may they stay?
Do you want advance notice before guests are invited?
¶ Privacy. How will you handle privacy issues with respect to space and
possessions?
¶ Noise. What limitations do you wish to put on noise? Do you want
designated quiet times?
¶ The lease. What are the terms of the lease? What happens if one tenant
