deposit required? How will you share it? Who will be responsible for
paying the rent on time?
Chores. How will you share cleaning, cooking, shopping, and other
tasks?
Food. How will you split the costs and responsibilities related to food?
Space. Who gets each bedroom? How will you share space, time in the
bathroom, common rooms, storage areas, and TV time?
Cable and utilities. Will you share these costs? Who will be responsible
for paying the bills on time? How will you split any security deposits
required for these services?
Guests. What, if any, limitations do you want on overnight guests and
parties? Who may have overnight guests and how long may they stay?
Do you want advance notice before guests are invited?
Privacy. How will you handle privacy issues with respect to space and
possessions?
Noise. What limitations do you wish to put on noise? Do you want
designated quiet times?
The lease. What are the terms of the lease? What happens if one tenant
