Tints are created by increasing the saturation of
the complementary color, Figure 11-12.
Computer software allows for the alteration of
a color’s opacity. This creates the illusion of a tint y y
when placed on a white background because the
white shows through the color as you adjust the
transparency. It is important to note this is not the t
correct way to create a tint, Figure 11-13.
