ratings agencies. Analyze the structure the author uses to
organize the facts about the agency you choose. Provide an
accurate summary of your reading, making sure to incorporate
key information about the agency.
Writing. Conduct a short research project to answer the question: How do
ratings agencies help the consumer make informed decisions regarding
which insurance carrier to choose? Write an informative report consisting of
several paragraphs that synthesize the information you collected.

multiple topics. Participants are usually allowed one hour to complete the

insurance. To prepare for the careers portion of the insurance test:
1. Read the Careers in Insurance features in each chapter of the text. As
you read each career, note an important fact or two that you would like
to remember.
2. Do an Internet search for “careers in insurance”. Review any careers
that you have not already read about. Make notes on important facts
about each.
