and financial education. Kathy has worked on these and related issues
with AARP, The American Savings Education Council, the Employee
Benefit Research Institute, the MetLife Mature Market Institute, the
US Chamber of Commerce, the Women’s Institute for a Secure
Retirement, and other organizations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in
Rhetoric and Communication from the University of Pittsburgh and
a master’s degree in American Government from the Johns Hopkins
