retirement account of $125 per month, and a cell phone allowance of $35 per
month. However, she will need to continue paying $37.43 per month in dues
to her professional organization as well as pay an additional $55 per month
in order to park in the company’s parking garage. Which job has the greater
net annual value?
18. Nick is a meat cutter at the local market. He earns $14.51 per hour and is
getting a 5.3% pay raise. He works 40 hours per week, is married and claims
two withholding allowances on his federal income taxes, and lives in a state
with a fl at-rate income tax of 3.07%.
