skills and provides practical exercises useful in the welding field. The textbook covers six areas
of instruction including:
Whole numbers

The topics are presented in a step-by-step approach with clear examples. This makes

Math for Welders lets you apply your learning by using many drills and exercises. Space
is provided in the book to work the problems and to record your answers. By referring to the
answers to the odd-numbered practice problems found in the back of the book, you will be able
to check your progress as you study. The welding-related problems are designed to sharpen
your application of basic mathematics to everyday situations.
An understanding of the material in this book is just as important to your career
development as keeping your equipment in top shape or developing the ability to weld in
various positions. Learn the skills taught here and become successful on the job!
