Additional Lighting Loads Additional lighting loads should be computed separately from the general lighting load and then added to the general lighting load. Loads for additional lighting, such as security light- ing, parking area lighting, sidewalk lighting, roadway lighting, and stadium lighting, are cal- culated using the actual load. These are consid- ered continuous loads where appropriate. The additional lighting load must be treated sepa- rately from the general lighting load for compu- tation purposes.
