Education, Training, and Experience Most consumer services careers require postsecondary education, training, and experience. They may have a degree in areas such as business, accounting, family and consumer sciences, political science, sociology, fi nance, or communications. Consumer educators typically hold related degrees. Some hold degrees in education. Consumer litigation attorneys need a law degree and regional certification to practice.
