Journal Writing After a summer where you had a job working on computers all day, you decide to try out for an athletic team. The coach welcomes you but restricts you to short, simple workouts and limited practice. You know you will not make the beginning lineup at this level. You mention this to the coach, state that you are disappointed, and hint that you might drop out if things don’t change. Write About It: Why would the coach limit the activity of a player who has been fairly inactive all summer? How can you use the situation to still become the best player you can be? How can you use this outcome to help with future goals?
