video game publisher: Company that
oversees the entire process of bringing a video
game to the retail market. (1)
virtual reality: A user’s body motions are
read by a user interface and displayed in a

visual perspective: Proportional scaling of
objects as they move toward a vanishing

voice actor: Person hired to be the voice of a

weighted: Increased or decreased statistical

windscreen: Foam or furry cover over a
microphone that reduces wind noise detected

word puzzle: Constructed of written or

workflow identifier: Item or information that
helps keep a work moving forward. (8)
work-for-hire contract: States what
someone is expected to produce, the starting
and ending dates of the work, and what he
or she will be paid; also states the company
owns the work he or she produces and
whether he or she may use the work in any
