Designing with
CADD
The design of bedroom and bathroom
spaces may be developed easily and rapidly
using modern CADD systems. Many of the
elements used in the design of these rooms
and furniture arrangements are commonly
available as symbols. Often, manufacturers
can supply CADD symbols of their specific
products. Custom symbols can also be devel-
oped for use when needed. In addition,
proposed designs can be rendered and shown
to clients. Figure 7-2 shows a CADD-generated
rendering of a large bathroom.
