Authentic Assessment of Young Children, Online Textbook
Authentic Assessment of Young Children blends theory and practical applications to provide students with the tools they need to successfully implement authentic, formative assessments in early learning settings. The textbook takes students through each step of the assessment loop as they learn best practices for data collection, data analysis, and effectively using assessment data to create and implement meaningful learning experiences for young children. Authentic Assessment of Young Children also emphasizes the need for assessment practices to be free of bias, with a focus on reliability, validity, and fairness for all children regardless of ability level, culture, home language, or socioeconomic background.
