Copyright Goodheart-Willcox Co., Inc. 118 AutoCAD and Its Applications—Advanced Viewport Confi gurations A layout of viewport confi gurations can be quickly created by using the Viewport Controls fl yout in the viewport controls located in the upper-left corner of the drawing window. See Figure 5-4. The viewport controls provide quick access to all viewport confi gurations and settings. Selecting Viewport Configuration List in the Viewport Controls fl yout displays a menu with 12 different preset viewport confi gurations. Selecting Configure… in this menu displays the Viewports dialog box, Figure 5-5. This dialog box, which is also accessed with the VPORTS command, is used to save and manage viewport confi gurations. Another way to access the preset viewport confi gu- rations is to use the Viewport Configuration drop-down list in the Model Viewports panel on the Visualize tab of the ribbon. See Figure 5-6. As shown in Figure 5-5, there are two tabs in the Viewports dialog box. The preset viewport confi gurations are available in the New Viewports tab. The preset viewport confi gurations include six different options for three-viewport confi gurations. See VPORTS Type VPORTS Figure 5-3.
