Chapter 7 Sweeps and Lofts 157 PROFESSIONAL TIP PROFESSIONAL TIP The Expression option available for scaling and twisting a sweep can be used as a simple calculation tool for both swept solids and surfaces. For example, if you want to twist the sweep to an angle one and one half times 45°, select the Expression option and enter 1.5*45. The sweep will twist 67.5°. NOTE NOTE The sweep options can be changed after the sweep is created using the Properties palette. In the Geometry section, you will fi nd Profile rotation (alignment), Bank (banking), Twist along path (twist angle), and Scale along path (scale) settings.
