Figure 1-25. The lighting and instrumentation systems are now controlled and connected with the body computer separate from
the engine or drive train control computers. Wheel speed sensors tell when to re-aim the headlights, sound an alarm through the
stereo speakers, energize the turn signals, put a hot engine warning display up in the dash, or tell you the car’s present location on
a detailed map. These complete electronic networks are fully explained in later chapters.
