Setting the Browser Home Page
When launched, a browser displays what has been set as the home page. Changing the home
page is easy in Microsoft Edge.
1. Launch Microsoft Edge.
2. Click the
Tools
menu, and click
Internet Options
in the menu. The
Internet Options
dialog
box is displayed, as shown.

3. Click the
General
tab in the dialog box.
4. In the
Startup
area of the tab, click the
Start with home page
radio button.
5. Click in the text box at the top of the tab, and enter the URL of the web page to use as the
home page. To have no home page, enter about:blank.
6. Click the
OK
button to apply the change.
7. Click the
Home
button on the navigation bar or press the
[Alt][Home]
key combination.
Verify that the intended page has loaded.
8. Applying what you have learned, set the home page of Microsoft Edge to a search engine
web page, such as Google.
