Unit 3 You and Food
204
Your food choices are also affected by social contacts. It is fun to share
food with friends at a party. You can make wise food choices in social
situations. Instead of chips, choose crisp, crunchy vegetables. Suppose
you are trying to maintain your best weight, but find it difficult to say no
when friends are going for ice cream. Maybe having a small ice cream cone
instead of a large hot fudge sundae is a better choice.
