Every business has resources that it uses
to run the business and produce products and
services. Money is one type of resource. Money
is often referred to as a financial resource.
Buildings and equipment are another type of

referred to as capital resources. The people who
work in the business are a third type of resource.
The people who work in a business are often
referred to as human resources. Human
resources include everyone who works for the
company, including all managers and all workers,

the company. If employees are happy with their
jobs and treated well by their employer, they
will do a better job.
