skill in managing your resources involves planning.
Since many resources such as energy and money
are limited, this is an important skill. Planning
will help you use each resource in a way that will
benefi t you. When you do not have the skill to do
what you want to do, you may need to substitute
another human or nonhuman resource. You can
also use time, skills, and knowledge to substitute
for money in some cases. Someone who knows how
to sew clothing may not need to buy a new outfi t.
