area. Certifi cation objectives fi are listed at the beginning of each
chapter to engage students and highlight important points
presented in the content, and they are noted within the chapter

Learning Goals
At the beginning of each chapter, a list of learning goals guides
students as they read the material presented. Each goal is aligned
with content headings, as well as with the summary at the end of
