xiii New to This Edition The following changes were made to the eighth edition of Modern Commercial Wiring to strengthen the integrated learning solution and to remain current with professional codes: • Content and tables have been updated to correspond with the 2020 version of the National Electrical Code® (NEC®). • Chapter 6 has been updated to address code and table revisions as they apply to conductors. • Additional updates were made to chapters, where appropriate, to address code revisions to topics such as branch circuits and hazardous locations. • Summaries were added to end-of-chapter content.
