iii About the Author Dr. Sue Roe has extensive experience in nursing and nursing education. For more than 40 years, she has worked in several clinical settings, and has taught and designed academic courses and training programs in the fields of nursing, allied health, and health administration. Dr. Roe is the author of The Nursing Assistant: Essentials of Holistic Care and coauthor of Health Science: Concepts and Applications. She is also the executive editor of Wholistic NOW!, an online newsletter focusing on holistic health, wellness, leadership, and education. She is also the leader of the Arizona chapter, a chapter of the American Holistic Nurses Association. Dr. Roe, along with The Roe Group Enterprises, LLC, is a resource for educational materials about the subject of holistic health. Dr. Roe has a doctorate in public administration, with an emphasis in administration and health policy. She has completed graduate-level work in educational administration and instructional development, and holds a master of science degree and a bachelor of science degree in nursing.
