Personality
Personality is the total of all the behavioral qualities and traits that
make an individual. These traits develop over time. Personality includes
the way you feel, think, speak, dress, and relate to others, 1-1.
Why is it important to understand your personality? Generally,
people are attracted to careers that suit their personalities. Various
types of work complement certain personalities more than others.
You probably know classmates who are primarily social or primarily
inquisitive. Social personalities do well in teaching and social
work because they enjoy interacting with people. This is a key job
responsibility in both cases. Inquisitive personality types, on the other
hand, enjoy exploring ideas as scientists or news reporters.
1-1
The way you interact
with your friends is a part
of your personality that
makes you unique.
