Setting Up a Signature
Creating a signature customizes Gmail and can save users time. Also,
signature can be changed or updated easily.
1. Log in to your Google Mail account.
2. Click the
Settings
button in the upper-right corner of the
Mail
page to
display a drop-down menu.
3. Click
Settings
in the drop-down menu. The
Settings
page is displayed.
4. Click the
General
tab, if it is not already displayed.
5. Scroll down to the
Signature:
section of the page.
6. Click inside the large text box. Notice that the radio button above the
text box is automatically turned on.
7. Enter the following. Use the formatting options on the toolbar above the
text box to match the formatting shown.

800-555-1234
8. Scroll to the bottom of the
Settings
page and click the
Save Changes
button. If the button is grayed out, Google has automatically saved the
changes.
