5. To apply the filter to messages that have already been delivered,
check the
Also apply filter to matching conversations
check box.
If this check box is not checked, the filter will only apply to new
messages.
6. Click the
Create filter
button to apply the fi lter. A message appears at the
top of the page to indicate the fi lter was created.
A filter can also be created from within a message by clicking the More button
and Filter messages like this in the drop-down menu. The filter form will be
displayed with the sender’s e-mail inserted in the search criteria.

page.
8. On the

page, click the
Filters
tab, as shown in Figure 2-16.
