Merge Mesh Faces The designer can merge adjacent mesh faces into a new, single mesh face. The MESHMERGE command is used to do this. Two or more adjacent faces can be selected to merge to create a different or unique face. For best results, the faces should be on the same plane. Do not try to merge faces that are not adjacent or are on corners. Figure 9-22 shows a tape dispenser. The three faces on the front need to be merged to create a new mesh shape. Enter the command and set the face subobject fi lter. Then, select the three adjoining faces to merge. Press [Enter] to complete the command.
