The Minimal option preserves most points in the point cloud. The Standard option removes weak points. The Aggressive option removes points that are not associated with an object or surface. The clipping options defi ne the clipping range and clip- ping intensity. The clipping range sliders set the minimum and maximum distances from the scanner at which points are preserved. The clipping intensity sliders set the minimum and maximum intensity values at which points are preserved. Points that are too weak or too intense are not included. Advanced scan settings are accessed by selecting the Advanced button. See Figure 15-2B.
