Options for printing include printing drawings, background colors, properties, and hidden text. Resetting Defaults If changes are made to the default option settings, each can be reversed by simply changing the setting back to the default. This must be done one at a time. However, if the ribbon has been customized, all changes can be reversed in one step. To help reduce the complexity of the ribbon, the user can customize it. Tabs the user does not need can be removed. If, however, at a future time, the user wishes to have the ribbon appear with the original choices, it can be reset with one command. To customize the ribbon, click File Options Customize Ribbon. Then, add or remove buttons, groups, and tabs as needed, as shown in Figure 4-27. To return the ribbon to its default state, click the Reset button. Then, in the drop-down menu that is displayed, choose to reset only the selected tab or the entire ribbon.
