Clothing and Shoes
Find out the type of clothing you are
expected to wear on the job. Many hospitality
businesses require a uniform, 23-20. Others
require formal business dress, such as a business
suit. Others are more casual. All clothing should
be clean and neat. Uniforms should be pressed
and starched, if necessary.
Your shoes should be comfortable to wear
and professional in appearance. Hospitality
workers often spend a great deal of time on their
feet. Shoes should always be clean and well
maintained. Clean and polished shoes are
important to achieve that professional look.
Hygiene
Personal hygiene refers to keeping your body
and clothes clean. Body odor will not only

Delores Stanley
Human Resources Director
Restaurants Worldwide
Dallas, TX 79283
Dear Ms. Stanley:
Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to meet with me last Thursday. I enjoyed meeting you and
learning about Restaurants Worldwide and especially about the Trainer Position. I believe that I could make a positive
contribution to Restaurants Worldwide.
During the interview, you said that you were looking for two things: an ability to mentor new employees and practical
restaurant experience. I feel that I have something to offer in both of these areas. My work experiences at Good Eats
Grill, AMC Sundance 11 Theaters, the Disney Store, and Subway have given me the firsthand experience that is so
important to success in any organization, especially restaurants. Each of these positions has taught me to be a good
mentor, a role model, and to be flexible.
Again, thank you for taking the time to visit with me. Please feel free to contact me if you need any further information.
Sincerely,
Alison Romero
